Weddings and Christenings need their own page as there are different requirements for children’s entertainment at these special events.

Joy has entertained children at a number of weddings and Christenings with the main difference noted being the diverse age range of children attending and of course that the occasion is not actually centered around the children (like a birthday party) but there are adult guests present too.

As a children’s entertainer Joy’s forte is to focus primarily on the children, with either interactive party games and music, or facepainting (by Fab Dab Faces) and ballooning (Joy) – all of which is often entertaining to adults, but is directed to the children. At most functions like these, the adult guests wish to continue socialising anyway, happy in the knowledge the children are having a great time.

As mentioned above, the two options for weddings and Christenings include:

• ballooning (simple designs that can be made quickly for all guests who would like one) and facepainting (Fab Dab Faces)
• children’s party games and music – similar to that provided at a children’s party
• other requests as made by yourselves can be considered.

We need to know whereabouts on the special day you are requiring the children to be entertained – eg. is it during speeches (in which case we’d need a separate room) or after the food etc. Do you have a DJ already? What area would you like the entertainment in (and will the weather make any difference?).

We want to add even more lovely memories to your special day (or your new child’s special day) and will take the time to ascertain as much information beforehand as possible so you can tick it off your ‘to do’ list! We cannot emphasise how important it is to us that everyone has the best time possible.
